We are only 2 days away from our Trunk or Treat at Silver Bowl Park! This Thursday, October 30th from 6pm-9pm, we're going to host the biggest Trunk or Treat in Las Vegas.

1) Our Trunk or Treat at Paradise Park is always a hit, and this year did not disappoint! Hundreds of families came out on Saturday for loads of candy and plenty of entertainment. From a dance performance to costume contests and pumpkin decorating, everyone had a great time!

3) Also, for those in the community who wish to provide direct support – such as prepared lunches or gas/gift cards, especially for TSA officers, please email Rick.Jackson@tsa.dhs.gov. Any help is much appreciated for the hard-working people that keep our airport running.

1) Today, Commission Chair Tick Segerblom and I had a press conference to highlight the temporary food and essentials pantry activated by Harry Reid International Airport. This pantry will support our federal employees impacted by the lapse in funding due to the Federal shutdown.

2) Artist Evelyn Hernandez Ortiz won the most recent contest at her school with a fantastic piece, the theme of which was Dia De Los Muertos, and that’s not all. This is her second time winning the contest! I was happy to recognize her again,

1) Another fall season brings with it another new art piece from a Ward Elementary School student to be highlighted on the billboard near Siegfried & Roy Park, and this artwork reveal was a little extra special!

2) On top of closing the restrooms in overnight hours and adding patrols to the park, we hope this measure further ensures everyone can enjoy the park safely.

1) As some may have noticed, the vehicle entrances to Sunset Park have gates. We are doing this in an effort to mitigate any activity in the park that may negatively affect its overall safety, and the gates will bar entry outside of public hours (gates will close from 11pm-6am).
