Maybe the lesson I should learn finally is that it's never worth tolerating people in my social circles who break bread with bigots and self hating cowards. I will make sure to be much more particular about who I am friends with from here out.

If your "friends" love to talk to malicious hateful bigots who actively plot against you and try to smear you for having a harmless normal human sexuality and they wont even have a shred of empathy for you then they aren't your real friends. They just see you as entertainment.
