Drew Allar will be at the helm for the Nittany Lions for one final year. Andy Kotelnicki said that Allan has gained some "autonomy" within the program and "doesn't need to be told what to do".

Andrew Rappelyea has impressed Kotelnicki with his "willingness to get better". The redshirt sophomore tight end makes his return this season after a season ending injury last year.

What does a TE room without Tyler Warren look? Well, there's plenty of depth ready for 2025. "I don't think enough people talk about Khalil Dinkins," Franklin said. Franklin added that Andrew Rappleyea is "hungry to get back out there" and Luke Reynolds has gotten stronger.

Franklin spoke about the depth of the linebacker room. He stated that there is going to be "competition" between some of the linebackers. Dom DeLuca, Tony Rojas A'Mare Campbell and Anthony Speca were some of the names Franklin mentioned as being involved in that competition.
