When it's time, the Colts absolutely should (and will) make Quenton Nelson the highest paid guard in NFL history again. No guard in ball is as valuable to their team as Quenton is in Indy.

We spend so much energy debating which elite quarterbacks are better that we overlook how their shortcomings and greatest achievements are largely due to the other 52 players and staff, as football is fundamentally a team sport.
My hot take is that QB rankings are the dumbest thing we have in sports media and it’s a shame they’re so popular and get all the clicks.

In my opinion there’s three types of QBs. Guys who can win you a Super Bowl, Guys who you can win a Super Bowl with, and guys who aren’t good enough to do either. It’s that simple.

With offenses looking like they're moving towards more 12P, the AAV of safety contracts are going to shoot through the roof in the offseason. Safeties that can fit the run but also hang with move TE's in coverage are going to be extremely valuable to a defense.

This is already a man beater but instead of just lining up in a regular 3x1 where the two DBs have a chance to make the play, Penn State lines up in a stack forcing the defense to Banjo and uses a Double Slant with an outside release by 5 which forces that DB to attach.

This is how you use formations to screw with defenses. Big fan of 3x1 with a stack or Quads with a Bunch. Dictate the coverage check and use it to your advantage.

- get best players on field.- hopefully improved passing efficiency = less need to take max protect shot plays to flip fields.- create run pass conflict and matchup issues with QB run and RPOs.- don’t have an answer in 12 to beat man coverage.
