#CalleryPear trees (‘Bradford’ pear) may look pretty, but they’re causing problems for native ecosystems and are species invasive here in Virginia. Better Alternatives: native flowering trees like serviceberry, redbud, or dogwood instead—they support wildlife & look pretty.

If you take the pledge then you are eligible to receive one of our Colonial Pollinator Pledge stickers! All you need to do is tell any CSWCD staff member at a tabling event that you took the pledge, and they will pass along a sticker!.
