trans humans who are looking to audition for drama school; sing what suits you best - change the key if needed. if you relate to it, but it’s a couple notes too low/high - change it! Can’t express how important this is !!!!

Not to mention that theatre isn’t exactly the cheapest experience and some only get to visit specific shows once. Now imagine that being ruined by someone, who’s not the paid professional, singing along 🙃 respect the artists, and respect your fellow audience members.

A lot of shows now offer singalong performances because they know people love to join in, however, if not specified, DO NOT join in. This is live theatre. Sad that instead of using this platform to educate people on proper theatre etiquette, it’s being brushed off and laughed at

This is actually really sad to see/hear! The fact that they’re laughing about it! NO, you do not sing along when going to WATCH a show, unless it’s a specific “sing along” People haven’t paid money to sit and listen to the person next to them murder a song!!! 😡 🤬
