I might be high off that ending but that’s the best save I’ve seen since the Bernlohr save and that was one of the best first round games I can remember watching. Back and forth, momentum swings, great pays, both teams giving it everything they had. Unbelievable game.

It would be erroneous to say Richmond’s Cinderella run came to an end. They weren’t a Cinderella. Spiders were a Top 8 team all year long, that yet again pushed the #1 team all the way to the limit. They were good enough to get to a F4, but ran out of gas. Too many body blows.

The other thing: every player should get a 5th year, not just this year’s seniors. This year senior’s obviously is the most pressing and pertinent, but even freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are losing out on a year as well. Hopefully the right outcome comes from this.

Harvard went 4-28 on FOs at the Dome in March and found a way to eek out a 1 goal win. They went 4-27 today and came up 1 goal short. What a bizarre, amazing two games between those two this year. But you gotta ask a lot of questions if you're Harvard. It was right there for you.

13,400 tickets pre-sold at Annapolis puts it right in the range of the 3rd or 4th biggest quarterfinal crowd ever. Virtually guaranteed to wind up with the 2nd biggest . 17,000 at Navy in 08 is the all time record. That’s the target today.

I hope we have a great tournament. I really do. But @NDlacrosse legitimately had a chance to dogpile on Memorial Day. To have a room of people make a collective decision and say "Nah, they don't belong" is gross negligence. You've undermined the integrity of the entire format.

Holy Cross defenseman Chris Conlin will use his final yr of eligibility at @NDlacrosse, per multiple sources. The NJ native has led the nation in CTs/game each of the last 3 seasons & helps shore up a defense that loses Arden Cohen, Jason Reynolds, & Matt Douglas to graduation.

Like Tierney said, the regular season is one thing. The ability to put replay in for all 70+ teams is next to impossible . But we’re playing in front of 35k people in an NFL stadium. It’s absolutely ridiculous we’re playing the game like we’re in 1973.

A culture win for Georgetown. Hoyas were all heart and hustle and just overwhelmed Duke in Durham. They dominated GBs early, the offense was relentless in a huge 3rd quarter, and the defense did the rest. Hoyas are peaking at the right time, and going back to the Quarterfinals.
