In 1980, the Queen opened the new St George's site in Tooting and was shown the library's @sgullibrary (one and only!) computer. Digital change happens quickly! She could look a bit more impressed though😁 #WDPD2024

The MAB was set up in 1867 to care for London's sick and poor. The Grove Hospital in Tooting (which stood on the site now occupied by St George's) was one of five fever hospitals set up by the MAB in the 1890's 3/
