On Indiana’s senior day in 2023, hardly anyone was inside Memorial Stadium. Fast-forward to 2025, and #iufb’s home crowd was sold out. During the 4th quarter on Saturday, I went inside the student section to get the full experience. Here’s more: Story: https://t.co/GueQKqdiOP

“We know we have something special with this team, and we know we can take this thing pretty far.” Indiana capped off a perfect 12-0 regular season with a rivalry win over Purdue, but for the Hoosiers, Friday night was just the beginning. #iufb READ: https://t.co/JJ9XJnwwqh

Indiana leads at the half with a fairly balanced offensive attack, and strong start on defense Not too much can be gained from a matchup against Bethune-Cookman, but #iubb has been solid thus far. DeVries leads with 12 points.

“Someday when I’m 80 sitting in my rocking chair drinking a Coors Light I’ll reflect back on this, but we have to much ahead of us right now.” What a quote from Curt Cignetti. 😂 He and #iufb are focused on the road ahead after their 12-0 start. https://t.co/OZYgcKFEY9

In Indiana's last two matchups with Purdue, it's outscored its in-state rival 122-3. While #iufb keeps making history, the Boilers have to grapple with the fact that replicating Curt Cignetti's success isn't as easy as the Hoosiers make it look. Story: https://t.co/oMdIet6sXP

"It's just a fact of where we're at and where they're at right now." Said that he doesn't put more emphasis on Purdue because they're in-state, but he's very pleased with how #iufb has played against them the past two years.

Said that running game and defense travel in this kind of weather, and that's exactly what #iufb executed tonight. Mentioned the passing game never got going, but with its strengths with the run game and defense, Indiana was ready for the cold weather.

Mentioned that he's so proud of his players, and how much they've meant to him and his program. The JMU guys, but everyone else who had contributed to building #Iufb into what it is today.

9:29 left 4Q | Touchdown Indiana. The Hoosiers keep on scoring even with the second team in the ballgame, as true freshman Davion Chandler picked up his first reception for a 65-yard touchdown from Alberto Mendoza. #iufb 56, Purdue 3.

Fernando Mendoza's last throw of the game ended up being this TD pass to Omar Cooper Jr, as Alberto took over right before the end of the 3rd qtr. This wasn't a TD worthy throw, but it'll show up on the stat sheet all the same. #iufb

At the end of the third, Indiana leads 49-3. The Hoosiers are really putting it on the Boilers, now with 329 yards rushing and a 46-point lead. You can tell #iufb has broken Purdue's will, and it's been done at the line of scrimmage. Indiana is simply stronger in the trenches.
