James Gribbon was missing in action after his plane disappeared in the Himalayas in August 1944. He was declared dead on April 8, 1946.

Anthony Shine was shot down in Vietnam on Dec 2, 1972 and declared dead on Jan 7, 1980. His body was found in 1995.

Anthony LaBella was killed in a plane crash in Armstrong, Ontario, Canada on August 12, 1942. He was an NY native, but flew with the RCAF.

Don Wemple (right) was killed in action in June 1943 when his transport was damaged by enemy fire traveling from India to China. He spoke his last words to his Colgate football co-captain John Lucy: “I’m all right now, coach, put me back in the game.”

Michael Joseph Hayes was killed in action Oct. 14, 1918 in Saint-Juvin, France. He was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for multiple acts of valor and is buried in @ArlingtonNatl
