It wasn’t until I took my team full of minorities to Cracker Barrel & our Black Assistant Coach pointed out how unrepresentative the walls were of all the people we had brought to the restaurant that. I can’t help but detect a bit of sarcasm in her voice at the end.

This season as a whole we had 30 athletes compete, 27 of them achieved PRs. Everyone who practiced with us for the full year, experienced at least 1 PR in their events! I’ve never been part of a season where we had that much growth! These athletes and coaches are truly special!

At our conference Championship we had 21 total athletes compete. We had 17 PRs, 8 new Top 5 All-Time Marks, 3 School Records, 5 All-Conference honors, and 2 athletes who were Conference Champions in their event. #MountUp
