Would currency fluctuations usd vs inr matter when investing in this scheme? As in , when buying/selling this mutual fund would the current day FX conversion be used ?

Motilal NASDAQ fund tracks famous ETF - $QQQ ( Awesome Nasdaq Index fund)... Just Google QQQ...
IMO best US funds for buy and forget category ...
There are others, but in the long run.. stick to Index - NASDAQ
