Fundamentals Still Matter: Understand Transformers and Fine-tuning, but prioritize application.

Focus on ecosystems, not ground-up development. Ecosystems: Master LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini) & frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face). The "Agent" Shift: This is the big one. Focus on building systems that autonomously perform tasks.

Before i even start writing a line of code, I have to fight these errors.

The worst thing about coding is constant bugs we devs have to fight through. And they are not related to our own code only. I am seeing errors due to unsupported node packages, macos ver <12, and astro’s incompatibility.
