Took this SS from LinkedIn.. Saw similar pattern in almost all jobs.... Didn't see any job for >16 YOE. Fun fact is, in other fields, with experience their value increases.... but in IT jobs, with experience our value decreases

I also faced this IIT/NIT discrimination... In my current job, my senior told me, 2 people (me & other guy) were equally good in interviews. They used my college & previous company as tie-breaker & selected me College & previous companies definitely gives you an advantage
People who say college doesn't matter are the biggest liar, it does especially in this matter. The best way to get a high package in tech is to study hard for JEE , join a good tier 1 clg and get a decent package. Eventually if you grind Leetcode all day, give contests and make
