Sick of waiting for ESPN to load on your phone? I made a site that shows live NBA games, boxscores and play-by-play in plain text and loads instantly. No frills, and no waiting, just plain text sports:

Would anyone want one of these plaintextsports drawstrings bags? I might order some more and could send them to people at cost (~$25).

We're looking to hire an experienced editor with a taste for fancy type-systems to work on education for OxCaml! Please share with anyone you think might be a good fit for this role. (And...retweets wouldn't hurt.)

A new blog post about how we've adopted Antithesis as part of our testing story. This is kind of a new thing for us, because we liked Antithesis (both the people and the product) well enough that we're now leading their next funding round.

After talking about it for many years, we've now got a Bonsai-based library for building terminal apps. You can find it here: https://t.co/eLZqgd26BM We've already used it internally to build a bunch of rich terminal apps. Hopefully others will find it to be useful as well!

Throwing up in my mouth a bit, would almost rather delete the whole website.

It is hard to get any work done when this is happening on the TV. I am desperately hoping for a quick end to the World Series so I can reclaim my evenings. Might need to do a multi-week sports cleanse.
After a long hiatus, I'm finally getting back to working on https://t.co/OOAk84Gc9Q, rewriting most of the internals to add new functionality. Here's a preview of line wrapping, and streaming input:

I'm separating the logic for managing the viewport and the layout of the underlying data to make it easier to add support for additional data formats in the future (e.g. XML). Right now I'm just implementing a viewport over a simple text file.

Like this maybe? I think this would basically only be for stolen bases / caught stealing, and balks. Maybe occasionally substitutions, but those are probably rare, and only ever due to injury (like Springer last inning). (This is reverse chronological order.)
This "pick off" was pretty lame though. (Hm, I wonder how I could express when the other plays occur. Maybe an '!'? Would "BBFBK!FFB" be clear?)
