Breaking the Silence annual skydive will have Cobh Hospital's very own Phil Toft making the leap, along with Cobh Hospital Knitting Group member, Yvonne Preston, and Ava McCarthy, who is doing the skydive in memory of her grandmother who spent 6 years in the care of Cobh Hospital

The organisers, Glitz Dance, of the fundraiser Strictly Cobh Dancing present a cheque to Friends of Cobh Hospital. The Strictly Cobh Dancing fundraiser raised €8,800 for Cobh Hospital and will be used to purchase a therapy bath, which will benefit many residents and patients.

Dressing up is encouraged, we’d especially love to see the children dressed up as doctors and nurses and healthcare assistants. The parade starts at 2pm, so we will be meeting at the Cobh Hospital float from 1.30pm on Lower Road. We look forward to seeing you!
