U.S. Air Force Colonel Thomas Gardner “El Toro” Derrickson II was declared missing in action on October 12, 1967 after a combat mission over North Vietnam. Thomas was a 31 year old pilot from Los Altos, California. 557th TFS. Sadly, Thomas’ remains were never recovered. Hero.🇺🇸
