September 1st is not a Holiday. It should not be treated like one. It is just the first day for coaches and players to start a journey. Some of the best ladies I have had the privilege of coaching I did not even know on September 1st of their junior year in high school.

Today I spent the morning with my daughter at her elementary school for what they call “field day”. I was planning on going tonight to recruit and watch other people’s children play. With the news out of Texas I decided to stay home and be with my family. 💔for Uvalde!
