I am not writing this to offend anyone, but I’m getting a lot of DM’s and mentions about tournaments this week through mid-September. D1 programs can only recruit the 6 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Which means we cannot recruit until the weekend of October 18-19.

Oakville High senior Addie Frank heading to tryouts this weekend at Nationals Park in D.C. for Women's Professional Baseball League, which opens next summer. "I'm excited and ready," said Frank, who also plays softball for Tigers. She says baseball has always been her favorite.

Was watching my 7th grade nieces play fall feeder softball games today in extreme heat and one of the pitchers passed out in the circle due to heat. We need to be better then this. Why are we risking health to get a game or practice in?
