’ve known this guy since he was 13. Had the privilege of coaching him in high school at McKinney Boyd. We’ve stayed close through his college years at OU and into his NFL career. Big Dawg even came by to meet me at my hotel today and surprised me! Go Patriots. go#55

Wanted to wish everyone a great football season! The times I miss are surprisingly the heat, the game planning, the practice install, the brotherhood with my coaches, and of course helping kids get to a better place on the field and off. Texas Football is special.

Going through old pics. 80’s kids. I was definitely one of them. Nothing can replace childhood memories. Born in the 70’s and grew up on the 80’s! Wow. What a ride! No bicycle helmets to jump ramps, no parents at the beach to fish and surf, Built different!

Found this last night. I wrote an article in HS in my school News Paper. My HC ….Que Brittain had it published in 1993. I wrote this on 2015 about my Coach and friend when he passed. Coaches, thought I’d share. This story absolutely changed my life!

As football season approaches I can’t help but think about the great years I coached in Texas. This pic brings back a great memory. We opened McKinney Boyd in ‘06 and went 0-10. The next year in ‘07 we went to the state quarterfinals. Best to coaches and players this season. GATA

Not a bad way to celebrate Sunday Mass in my hometown. Sometimes I take for granted where I was born and now live again. To listen to Mass on the beach is special and even more special to sit and listen on our family bench.
