Coming in as the 12th seed! Only 8yr old on the sheet with a bunch of 10-15yr old kids. He has a VERY tough bracket. 9/14 are green belts and higher. 2 belts higher than my boy. Regardless of what happens, it’s all going to be a learning experience. Steps in the right direction.

6 baseball practices in and my boy has improved big time. His swing is tough. He doesn’t strike out anymore in practice. His throwing mechanics has improved big time and now he’s just learning the game. Started off not liking baseball and now he’s wants to continue. Fun times

now we start baseball on Saturday. He’s never played so another first. He’s with his homeboy so he’ll be good. He’s by himself in jujitsu and you gotta stand out to be recognized so playing on a team will be new for him. It’ll be good for him.

SON RANT: Watching my son compete in Jujitsu is dope. First big competition in 1 month. He test to a higher belt at the end of this month. Getting recognized, the Sensei has been turning the heat up and he responds with his head up. He’s taking a liking in the jujitsu culture.
