One of the young men my mom sponsored and taught on her first trip to Rwanda wrote this poem today.
Grateful for all the kindness shown to our family in this hard time. My mom would have wanted any gifts in her memory to go to the non-profit she founded, GIFTS Rwanda, which has radically transformed the lives of people in the town of Rugarika.

Started today @SpokaneHoopfest with a poor shooting performance. Then battled through the losers bracket winning 3 straight in dramatic fashion before falling in the championship. Fun to make a run at it, nobody seriously hurt, showed we still got a little game.

Going to assume that Cedric Coward is the first NBA lottery pick out of the @NorthwestConf (for sure in the D3 era). Was a privilege to coach against him, our scouting report read “D3 Magic Johnson.” Not surprised at all he ended up in the League!.
