The trend of the Rays focusing on 2026+ has slowly but surely started. Yesterday they called up C.Williams and today Van Belle gets his shot at being a part of the rotation for the foreseeable future.
It’s official: The Rays have sent Joe Boyle to Triple-A Durham and called up RHP Brian Van Belle, who was acquired in the Reds deal for Zack Littell. Van Belle will wear #67.

So frustrating that the Rays continue to have Walls as their primary SS. Give Carson Williams his Major league time, let him get a feel for it for the rest of 2025.
Marc reporting Carson Williams could be sent back down to Durham if/when Walls & HSK return. Regardless, good experience for him.
