Dooney Johnson, the Milwaukee star and No. 28 recruit in the 2027 class per ESPN, has committed to Gonzaga, he told ESPN Wednesday. Johnson said the school's support of Tyon Grant-Foster's push for another year of eligibility was a factor in his choice. @thedooneywatch

I have been covering Gonzaga for 7 years and this may be the best soundbite I’ve ever gotten: “We are gonna have a real special year. Everyone is bought in. The culture is crazy here. You feel it when you walk in to the arena from ticket ppl to janitors. I’m grateful to be here.”

Message!
If Gonzaga can pick up Luca Foster and Sam Funches. Both players fit Gonzaga’s system of a read-and-react / pick-and-roll-heavy offense with motion elements and continuity. @CoachRjayBarsh on his recruiting grind!

Kudos to U.S. District Judge Rice on this decision. Sending best wishes to Coach Few and @ZagMBB
The federal court has rejected the NCAA's effort to remove Tyon Grant-Foster's case from state court. U.S. District Judge Thomas Rice has remanded it back to Spokane County Superior Court. Grant-Foster's attorneys are working to get a hearing scheduled as soon as possible.

Rarely is Mark Few as heartfelt and thorough as this statement on Tyon Grant-Foster: “It’s been a really tough deal. He’s an incredible guy with an incredible story. I’ve been coaching for 37 years, but never seen one as unique as this. He literally died twice. They’re wrong.”
