From college sidelines to NFL front offices — every stop taught me something different. I’ve learned how to lead, scout talent, how to build culture, and most importantly, how to keep growing through every chapter. It’s not about titles, it’s about the lessons along the way! 🏈

Dear Prospective Student Athlete, It’s 1 a.m. and I’m scrolling through hundreds of DMs. Same goals. Same dreams. Same requests. So I’ll ask the question that actually matters, what makes you different? Everybody wants what you want. Very few are willing to do what it takes to

Both are legitimate paths. What matters most is early playing time and quality film, not the level. If you don’t have JUCO offers, NAIA is absolutely a legit route. Many NAIA programs offer real development, scholarships, and exposure, and players move up every year when the film
@CoachReamon What are your thoughts on commiting to an NAIA as an option VS trying out for a juco unless you have juco offers of course. Is it more about going where you can acquire film the fastest to try and move up? Would NAIA be considered a legit route too?

👤 Question: What do you think of 7v7? I’ve heard some people say it’s not good or beneficial. But as a quarterback, I feel like it helps me. Curious about how college coaches view it. 🗣️ Answer: 7v7 is a tool, not the evaluation. For quarterbacks, it can help show accuracy,

👤 Question: What is the best way to contact college coaches and position coaches during the recruiting process, and what’s the most effective way to earn a visit? 🗣️ Answer: DM / email. The only thing you can control is using both consistently to give yourself the best possible

👤 Question: Hey Coach Reamon, could you guide me through my recruiting process? I’ve reached out to around 55 college coaches through DMs but haven’t had much response yet. I’m trying to understand what I may be doing wrong and how I can improve my approach. Any advice would be

Great question! Beyond measurables, coaches are looking for clarity and trust. Your communication should clearly define what position you project at and how you fit their program, include film that shows your traits with access to full games, and highlight real production such
@CoachReamon On the journey to recruiting what are the most important things to put in your communications to football programs besides the measurables?

🗣️ Question: Do you think it would be better to commit to a D1 JUCO, a strong D3 program, or a D2 school if my plan is to start as a freshman and eventually transfer to a D1 program? 🗣️ Answer: If your goal is a Division I opportunity, production matters more than the logo.

I’m intentional about using my platform the same way my father used his — as a real resource for young athletes chasing their dreams the right way. He helped thousands of players with honesty, guidance, and perspective, on and off the field. That’s the standard I try to live up

Appreciate that, thank you. I think Running back, interior offensive line, inside linebacker, and mid-tier quarterbacks have taken the biggest hit because college staffs can plug in older, more physically ready players immediately. On the other hand, offensive tackle, edge
@CoachReamon Hey coach congrats on the new opportunity - had a chance to read some of your articles - great stuff. Quick question - which high school positions are impacted the most by the portal in regard to scholarship offers? Keep grindin' my man 👊

Follow-up because y’all asked… Best recruiting visit shoe = @Nike Vomero • Super comfortable • 2-inch sole • You will still have to take them off when they measure you. • When standing next to other recruits you will stand out. • I own every color 10/10 recommend!

A few days ago I tweeted about recruits wearing tall shoes on visits and everyone jumped to “they’ll make you take your shoes off.” That’s true. But here’s the part people miss, speaking as a former college coach and NFL scout: on visits, you’re standing next to other players at

At most college football programs, coaching tenure is shorter than people realize. • P4 head coaches: roughly 3–4 years at a school on average. • Group of 4 / lower levels: often 2–3 years. That constant movement is why coaches recruit with urgency and why players are told
