One of the realest pieces of advice I’ve gotten on this journey was “Mario, when you become a HC one day, just remember you’re hired just to be fired and sometimes you won’t even know why”. I’ve seen this happen more times than I can count now.
Our team went 6 – 4 this season, made the playoffs, won the Team Sportsmanship Award for our Conference, and… I just got fired.

I did CASEVAC missions in Africa, jumping out of a helicopter with 2 bulging discs and sciatica.
LeBron James says this is not the first time he’s dealt with sciatica. He also had it during the offseason two years ago. “If you ain’t never had it … I pray you never get it”
