Coaches: Best practices item I have heard this past year was from Coach J. Sather. Have a list on board or desk with names of every player. Players are to stop by 1x per week and share with Coach how they are doing Academically, Athletically, Spirituality, and Personally -

Coaching Idea: Script and communicate minutes for each player for each game. Take the NBA model - let players know ahead of time based on upcoming opponent and current team situation. Post it on board in locker room or on scouting report - each players expected minutes.
