At MWE's Veterans Day Program Wildcats learned about the holiday, sang patriotic songs & were honored to have 5 brave veteran guests who answered questions written by students! Thanks to all who made this day so amazing, including one of FBISD's veterans @DiazFramy ! #FBISDProud

Our super second graders worked collaboratively in small group to represent the data in pictographs with unifix cubes based on the key. Loved hearing my favorite phrase over and over..... "Ooooohhhh! I get it now!" 💜💛

It was battle day!!! Today was our first Around the World battle of the year and it was a fierce one! Our kiddos studied hard and proved they really are the best in the west!

Collaboration is the key to helping us #LevelUp ! 5th grade teachers engaged in our weekly Team Teaching where they model upcoming lessons, fine-tune lesson plans through feedback/suggestions, address misconceptions, & much more! Separating mixtures next week will be a breeze!
