Not always entirely true. A lot of coaches coached at those 5-5 schools to get to the place with 10 D1 signees. I do see what you are saying, but there are outliers to this.
As coaching clinics start here is your reminder You can learn far more from the guy who went 5-5 with no division one signees than you can from the guy who goes 10-0 with 10 division 1 signees. They were not developed they were born and he was smart enough to coach there.

DB @lockett_tay has finally signed with the Hogs after being the first commitment in the 2026 class. He pledged to Arkansas in August of 2023 and never thought of going anywhere else. His mother Megan is a LR native. Tay moved to Conway from California in August. His family is
