I'm being selfish right now. Forget the argument "is it right, is it too much" & all the politics. Simply from selfish standpoint, my only child lost her Sr prom. I'll never walk the halls with her again. So many "last of" memories we never got to make. I'm heartbroken for her.

Parents, there will be a day when there are no more games to go to, no more practices to drive them to. Don't be put off about having to do those things. It's a gift to take your kids to 7am practice, to pick them up late after a game. Cherish it. Plenty of time later for you.
