New pedal day. 😎 Retiring the very old E13 LG1+ and now #dmrbike Vault in blue. To stretch out the lifespan of the old pedals, I’ve been running DMR Moto pins so I have a large supply ready to go if I want more grip.

Was wearing my Kalas custom kit yesterday, as was the guy I was coaching, when some random came up to see where we got our outfits. Turns out he loved the look and hoped to buy. I told him all he had to do was get coached and buy. Thanks for the compliment random cyclist.

Broke yet another spoke in this @envecomposites rear wheel. Came on bike. Bike co (at first break) said talk to ENVE. ENVE said talk to Aussie importer. They said talk to bike co. So I’m replacing all 14 NDS spokes. 🤞🏻that fixes it.

I love it when an overhaul is so successful. These pedals are 12 years old, been used on 2 DH bikes, never touched. They squeaked. Pulled apart. Cleaned up inside. Reassembled. Better than new in terms of smoothness. 👍🏻 E*13 LG1+ pedals if you’re curious.

I think I actually dented the rim in this impact. Found a ding changing tyres. 😳 Easily restored with a bit of a bend as it was shallow.
Riding the DH bike off the chairlifts on Sunday. I hit something on the trail about as hard as I’ve ever hit anything before. Tried to rip my hands and feet from the bike. I caught sight of the F tyre being squashed wide. Thanks to @CushCore Pro the rims survived. 😀

New brake pads and one of these spacer tools makes centring the caliper super simple. After a set of pads I always find re-centring necessary for some reason. #quietbrakes #goodbrakes

Funny sound from the brake. Turned out the pad was paper thin and the spring touching the rotor when applied. My noise. Duh!!
