UNC beat Georgetown, 81-61, on Sunday, holding the Hoyas to their worst offensive outing of the season, as @CoachDavidSisk gets into plus more from the Tar Heels' performance. https://t.co/YHwwXfQGDm

Sunday was the "Throwback Game" between North Carolina and Georgetown. The Tar Heels played to that identity in an 81-61 win.

That was a trip. Georgetown getting frustrated now. Injuries, foul trouble. North Carolina just wearing them down with its size in a physical game. @TarHeel_247

In August, we raised $3m from Dragonfly and Starting Line. We spent $2.5m of it on this launch video.

North Carolina has something with their side ball-screen against drop coverage. As sharp in that part of the game as I have seen them this season. @TarHeel_247

North Carolina is going to get open 3’s this game. Georgetown helps a ton, doubles the post. Kickouts are going to be there. Just got to make them. Hit the first one, missed the next five. @TarHeel_247

North Carolina and Georgetown has a magical ring to it. They will meet up again Sunday. Get an idea of what to expect after taking a deep dig into the Hoyas.

I like Gunner Stockton. Humility isn’t a popular trait nowadays, but you can tell his is genuine.

I keep going back to that Auburn vs. Kentucky game last year, where Mark Pope brought almost no energy, the players were just sitting there barely clapping, meanwhile Bruce Pearl had Auburn fired up, players yelling, chanting, and huddling up as a team. I just want to see Pope

Kentucky went on a shooting drought for over ten minutes in the second half. In the latest version of the Film Review we will look at how North Carolina locked the Wildcats down.

UK runs several slot ball-screens. UNC ices and drops. Zayden High is in good position on the last screen. It looks there is going to be a switch on the last screen, but Derek Dixon recovers back to Aberdeen to force a contested jumper late in the clock. @TarHeel_247

UNC switches the weave into an ice of the side ball-screen. The goal is to go over & funnel the ball from behind into the shot blocker. Perfectly done. Henri Veesaar is waiting for Denzel Aberdeen in the paint. @TarHeel_247

Kentucky likes the backscreen into the high post handoff. It throws in a Zoom wrinkle as well. Caleb Wilson switches onto the rim cut. That puts him in perfect help. Derek Dixon switches onto the handoff, but Wilson is staked out at the front of the goal. @TarHeel_247

Another great job of executing the game plan & switching the right action. Under the 1st screen, jam the 2nd screen & second cutter. Kentucky ends up shooting a deep contested three against a seven-footer. @TarHeel_247

North Carolina’s switching communication was beautiful here. Chase through the first screen of the stagger, switch the second. Over on some, under on others. Scouting report. Lot of action here, and everyone was picked up including the slip. @TarHeel_247

North Carolina switches both ball-screens. Veesaar is able to stay in front of Jasper Johnson. Moreno’s roll to post takes away space. Johnson has to go left & has no chance getting this off over the 7-foot-1 Veesaar. @TarHeel_247

Kentucky gets through the press & misses a 3. Denzel Aberdeen grabs a long board going to the rim. Henri Veesaar makes him hold onto the ball a little too long, so Jarin Stevenson can clean up from behind. You can’t coach length but you can recruit it. @TarHeel_247

UK did not make a field goal for 10 minutes in the 2nd half. There were two themes from the UNC side: good switching & length. Forget scoring, Jarin Stevenson’s defensive versatility is so impressive. Can switch from a big to a guard & adjust the shot. @TarHeel_247

The game winner out of a timeout. The over/under cuts occupies the help while Veesaar sets the high ball screen. The Caleb Wilson effect makes his man keep a body on him. Bad angle on the drop & not enough tag off Stevenson. Derek Dixon makes the game winner. @TarHeel_247
