I’ve been coaching the 3-4-3 for about 7 years now, and it’s my dream to coach in the #MUFC Academy. Here’s a presentation on how I see the system and the game in general (A Thread) 🧵🩸

Yan Diomande was first spotted in a lower tier of American Soccer called the UPSL. I used to manage a team in that league called Sporting California. Never got to coach against him, but man serious talent can be found from anywhere🩸

“Maybe the manager is wrong” -Ruben Amorim One of the first things I tell my kids when I take over a new team or them or the parents have an issue with playing time. Maybe I am wrong. Prove it, because I just want to win and develop ballers & will play you🩸

When you watch teams like Bournemouth, you begin to understand why I PROMISE YOU that passing around your own 18 yard box is going to be completely extinct soon🩸

There’s a beautiful technical tactic being implemented where #MUFC players are blindly dummying balls in the middle of the pitch with pressure on their back, the attacking mids seem to be ready and waiting. Brilliant training ground work this week.🩸

For a developing team, do you prefer winning or style-of-play? Don’t say both🩸

I’ve been watching football long enough to know that Arsenal won’t win the title. City will finish at least 6 points clear🩸

You need an attacking and defensive option at both LWB and RWB. Semenyo and Amad are excellent defensively for wingers and also some of the best in the world offensively. Dorgu and Dalot (usually) are very solid defensively. Mix and match as you like/need🩸#mufc

Left foot, right foot…bang. The stepover work in the second half was particularly special from this young lady🩸

I would try Amad at left wing back and Mazraoui at right wing back with inverted attacking mids at some point🩸#MUFC

Talent is probably the #1 thing that excites me the most in life. Seeing talented people do anything, but particularly play football🩸

League Champs Special group of young ladies right here. Being a coach couldn’t fill my heart with anymore happiness—win or lose. To see these kids compete, trust each other and fiight for every blade was a dream. 3-4-3 QUEENS 🩸

Two things about data: 1. You must be very sure you are analyzing the correct data in relation with the outcomes you wish to predict. 2. If you simply wait, the data will rarely lie🩸

Young attackers must be able to go to their right and left foot from both the right and left hand side to avoid predictability. We worked on a mini Ronaldo Chop today🩸

I wish I could quantify how many small actions, literally per game, that Cunha, Mbeumo & Sesko pull off which Garnacho & Hojlund could not physically accomplish🩸

We’re simply playing better & able to complete the hard tasks now in the half spaces for example. We can turn out of pressure now & continue plays we wouldn’t have been able to with people like Garnacho in those positions. Better players, perfect profiles..the difference🩸#mufc

Nothing has changed Take it from someone who coaches a 3-4-3 for 7 years. I said we just needed thenright profiles…almost perfect profiles tbh. We aren’t playing anymore long balls than we did with Onana and not much more than teams like Pool🩸#mufc
