Seems like the stemming is still allowed, it’s the abrupt movements or even potential non lateral movements that are being policed. As long as referees are going to count head bobs & over demonstrative clapping/hard count by QB then I’m sure most defensive coaches will be ok!.
I get the substitution rule here. Makes sense. Defensive staffs found a way to abuse that and make it work for them. Pre-snap stemming now being a penalty though. hate it. No nice way to put it - and im an offensive guy!.

7on7 with your HS team in the summer should have minimal Empty and 2 Man plays.

Recruits: Prospects with elite measureables and ability will get recruited no matter what HS they play at. It’s the guys that are undersized or don’t meet everything colleges look for that need to be aware of the impact having the right HS Coaches can have on their recruitment.

Recruits: The worst thing you can do is not be ready when your number is called. Pouting, not knowing the playbook, not working hard, quitting, etc won’t get you any more touches or help you make any more plays!. Keep working and stay ready, it will pay off!.
