That little college you’ve never heard of most likely has some dudes who throw 88-92, can run, have guys with juice , & a ton of guys who r flat out competitors. Good luck thinking you’re going 2 walk in & be handed a starting spot. College baseball is really good at all levels.

Most high school kids are not talented enough to go straight into an average division 3 program and start. That’s how good college baseball is. We have to educate parents and players better so they can get a better idea of where they belong in regards to level of play.

90 plus percent of division 2, NAIA, Juco, and D3 are going to carry 40-55 players next year with some carrying even more. If you’re scared of competition then stay home. You are going to have to earn your way on the field at the collegiate level.

Recruits- go where you’re wanted. Go where you’re going to get better and there’s actual player development. Go where you have a chance to have an impact not the place that looks cool on social media. If coaches want to invest in you that’s a great sign it could be a great fit.
