@halvexhost Pros: decent support & sla Cons: - Poor network connectivity - Cheap processors, ram, etc. made the server take 15 minutes to receive an email. - Very cheap hardware

I've decided to cut https://t.co/jCjtZncFmu out of our network entirely as of today and terminated our partnership. If you are planning on using @halvexhost here are the pros and cons of using them and why we recommend to not use them.

I barely use this account but 1 follower is funny

Current Status (1) - 2 of approx 12 domains are online, others are pointing to incorrect ips or are offline. Other domains are expected to be back 10/25/2024 and at the latest 11/02/2024

10/23/2024 - downloaded entire server (properly) preserving user generated content as well! took several hours to download. then wiped server. Reinstalled operating systems and reuploaded and launched 2 domains fully

10/22/2024 - investigated issues and found critical files were damaged in a network failure during an update

10/21/24 - Migration completed, major service issues on server caused by myself not the hosting provider.

On that same day, users were directed to a message saying that the server was moving

10/20/24 Moved main server from NL to US Planned service disruption

Service Disruption Logs (10/20/24 - 10/25/2024) doing this so in the future there are consistent logs

Website down

We're experiencing moderate interruptions at this moment on our phoenix server. Our website seems to be up, but we're unable to access the server itself.

Service Updates: All systems (except mail) are offline.

We've just contacted FirstInspires about caching their API. We'll see how that works out :)
