The TIE Reaper I've had designed for a while but needed to test. I learned the digital model has a few flaws that need addressing before releasing. Krennic's Shuttle was built on a whim since test building the TIE Reaper made me want to build more Rouge One stuff. (part 2)

Since yesterday, I'll be going through my Rebrickable moc listings and updating descriptions, thumbnail images, and anything else I deem necessary. For current projects, I spent some time this weekend testing classic TIE Reaper and classic Krennic's shuttle designs. (part 1)

Terryl Whitlatch, the lead creature designer for The Phantom Menace, is a trained zoologist, which is why even the most outrageous CGI creatures in the film have a biological reality to them. She would meticulously work out their internal musculature and skeletal structure.
The only reason George Lucas used all masks for the cantina was because he didn't have cgi yet. And when he did, he went nuts. Take a lap Dud Bolt.

George Lucas explains on the Return of the Jedi DVD commentary that he included the moment with the rancor-keeper because it obliquely foreshadows the end of the film: The rancor is a monster, but it was still loved by someone. The same proves true for Darth Vader.
Remember how scary the rancor seems? But then it dies after letting out a pathetic little dog-like whimper, and you actually feel sorry for it. Then you realize the rancor-keeper loved it.

@Kerrcarr01 I find the older art very funny sometimes, cause those are very clearly just the kenner figures in the side of the toy. Like the artist had the transport on their desk with the figures in it. Very funny, very cute
