Excited that the Citizen’s Advisory Board unanimously supported funding a new events center downtown and parks and neighborhood projects with the first $45 million in funds.

Gail continued her school board work by attending the @SGFChamber State of the State event this morning and @officialSPS summer school graduation tonight.

Good to be back in #SGF. Gail worked the @officialSPS Back to School Bash while I attended Roseann Bentley’s funeral.

The last stop on our @MSU_Choirs trip to South Africa is the wine country. 3 wineries the first day followed by the last concert w/ Stellenbosch University Choir and sightseeing in Franschhoek the second day ending in the farewell dinner. #TravelBears

Cape Town: beautiful sunsets, a hike on Table Mountain, another fabulous @MSU_Choirs concert, great food including a potluck at church after the concert, a drive to Chapman’s Peak, and a visit to the African Penguin Colony highlight this part of the trip. #TravelBears
