The 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins on June 1 and runs through the end of November. Cleco is encouraging customers to prepare in case a hurricane or tropical storm impacts our 24-parish service territory. Learn more at

Cleco crews and contractors have since restored power to more than 11k customers. As of 7:30 p.m., approximately 5,400 customers remain without power. Crews will continue working through the night to restore power to those affected. (2/3).

May 26, 2025 @ 7:30 p.m: Cleco Storm Power Restoration Efforts Underway. A major storm swept through central Louisiana this afternoon, causing widespread damage, including downed power lines and trees. At the peak of the storm, about 17k customers were without power. (1/3).
