moulds, PM2.5 and airborne viruses that might linger in the air. Opening some windows to allow cross-ventilation in the building is helpful. Set up HEPA filters to filter dust, pollutants and pathogens from the air.

This World Ventil8 Day we are reminded that the air we breathe is a shared resource,and the fight for healthy air for all is a collaborative task. Air doesn't discriminate, but too often building standards do. As many of our homes and shared public buildings lack good ventilation

Professor Morawska continues her work by focussing on PM2.5, tiny pollution particles that float through the air and are small enough to be breathed deep into the lungs. The short term consequences can be asthma and allergies, the particles however are small enough to cross
