@breaghisabel I was hesitant to continue pushing the song. but had a lot of friends and family convince me it would be a good move and bring peoples spirits up if I pushed the song and people heard it.

@breaghisabel We dropped the song on the 17th of April. then the next day the mass shooting happened in nova scotia and it just didn't feel right to celebrate the "Good News" . .

@breaghisabel This was before c0vid and before the mass shooting in Nova Scotia. We shot the video in the retirement home. 4 weeks before they stopped all people from visiting because of the pandemic.

@breaghisabel We eventually worked out the rest of the chorus and then when she left i worked on the drums and started writing my parts of the song.

My song 'Good News' turned 5 yesterday. I remember when @breaghisabel came out to work on new stuff and right before she left, she played the piano and sang "I've been waiting on some Good News". it hit me the same way "I read the rules before I broke them" did with David Myles.
