Markie Post, who played the public defender in the 1980s sitcom “Night Court,” has died at age 70. Post, a longtime TV regular who also appeared in shows from “Cheers” to “Scrubs,” died Saturday after a years-long battle with cancer, her manager said.

It hasn't hit the news yet, but personal friends of actor Bill Macy are reporting he died this evening at age 97. You most likely remember him as Walter Findlay, long suffering husband on 137 episodes of Maude. RIP, Bill Macy.
