Today was the monthly Auto Brunch event in St Ives. I've always regarded it as the best cars and coffee event in Sydney, and when a friend contacted me the day before saying he would have his D Special on display, I decided to go along. #AutoBrunch

In the last part, I used a fuel tank sealing product to seal my W123 fuel tank. This seemed to go quite well, but it turns out I had made a fatal mistake. Once I had coated the inside of the tank,I very carefully cleaned the openings for the sender https://t.co/jUNaZjZ8Ve

In the last update, I cleaned out all the junk from my W123 fuel tank. At the time I was undecided if I should do anything about the surface rust in the bottom of the tank. In the end I decided to. The rust was just surface rust, but it covered https://t.co/XY9He4DBeg

Earlier this week, I removed the fuel tank from my 1981 Mercedes 240D. This was because I was unable to get the fuel strainer out from the bottom. It turned out to be not such a bad thing, as onceI had the strainer out, I could see that the tank https://t.co/m3sKLh6gsB

Over the last few months, I have been dealing with the algae problem in my 240D. I've been quite busy with my trip to Victoria and work, so the 240D has been on the backburner. However, I am keen to get the 240D back on the road, so started work https://t.co/2WQv1RseXg

Editors Note: This is part four in a series by Nick Gruzevskis about owning a Modern Mercedes convertible – in this case his R170 SLK230. The previous entries can be found here. Two cars of the same chassis/model often drive differently after https://t.co/bSgQehuYMt

After our September night drive was rained out, it was good to be back for the October drive. The weather had been good he day of the drive but a storm rolled through Sydney in the early evening. It was mostly gone by the time of the drive, but we https://t.co/HKK567z1PA

Since I own a lot of cars, friends and family assume that I am a useful person to ask general car questions. This is probably fairly hit and miss as I know very little about cars built after 1990. In any case, my latest project was to help my mother https://t.co/bM0MSlGOCb

The Annual German Auto show is always a great event and this year was no different. The event was organized by the Mercedes-Benz Club and includes the other German car clubs including BMW, Porsche, Audi, VW and the micro cars. https://t.co/bBOkl5X3Uk

The Long Way Euround 2024 is now the third of these big road trips in Classic cars I've organized. To me an adventure like this is the best part of classic car ownership. Its not just about owning the car, but about the experiences that come along. https://t.co/cRCwIzZM9o

On our 3,900km road trip, we had 10 cars participate. None of the 10 required a lorry to return home. However, pushing these cars hard over such a distance is going to result in a few minor mechanical issues. #LongWayEuround

Editors Note: This is part two in a series by Nick Gruzevskis about owning a W210 430. The first part can be found here. I'm one of those individuals that can't handle interior noises, mostly rattles & squeaks, but in this case it's been a buzzing https://t.co/LmtOB2hP35

Today was the final day of our big Classic Mercedes Road trip. We started at 6:15AM in Bombala where it was 2 degrees outside. We were down to 9 cars, as one of our drivers had some unexpected work commitments that came up, so had to leave his car https://t.co/vaVbpNs1Vh

ay five of the Long Way Euround takes us back towards Sydney via Gippsland and the Monaro region of southern NSW. After an action packed day on Day 4, today was a little more relaxed, but we still had a museum to visit and over 600km of driving to do. https://t.co/UrBMORzogI

Today was day four of The Long Way Euround, the Classic Mercedes road trip I am doing through NSW and Victoria. Day four was one of our busiest, and so far probably best days on the trip. https://t.co/QFACl8eVcz

Today I attended the Australian National Show and Shine, at Euroa. This is part of a multi-day Classic Mercedes road trip I am doing with a group of friends. The Euroa Show and Shine was the anchor event of our trip, which we dubbed the Long Way https://t.co/GhbxLEn5S8
