The Clarke will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We'll reopen on Monday, December 2 for regular business. Picture is a Thanksgiving greeting card, from the 1930s, found in the Nellie May Davis Finley papers.

Today is #OpeningDay of firearms deer hunting season in Michigan. Back in the 1800s, a photographer with a stereographic camera (two lenses, which creates a 3D effect with the right viewer) snapped this photo of an unidentified group of men at their deer camp in #Michigan.
