Our senior English teachers&senior students did a GREAT job of returning library books by our deadline. @HouyRihana's class was the class who had ZERO books out by last Friday, so they were all eligible for our summer reading prize pack! Congrats, Coogs!

Here’s what COOGS were reading this year!! Each of these books were checked out AT LEAST 20 times this year!! They represent 11 authors ALLLLL of whom bring valuable stories that help us understand our diverse world a bit better! Did you read one of these? What’s your fav?❤️📚

Of our print books that were checked out, our fiction section had the highest circulation rates. And actually increased by 25% from last year!! Can you guess which books were our most circulated?? Here’s a hint, most of those authors have attended @NISD_LibPalooza 😍❤️📚

This year I was able to add almost 1,500 books to our collection, bringing our total to 17,937 print books! Average age is 8 yrs old. THRILLED @NISD trustees support our libraries with healthy budgets and the ability to tailor our collections to our communities. ❤️📚

Highlighting data we collect throughout the year that reflects some of what we do to ensure our students have resources for a successful yr at #ClarkTexas. Circ numbers are gathered from 4/2022-4/ 2023 and our Coogs continue to seek out some fantastic reads. ❤️📚 #BooksSaveLives

Great breakfast meeting with some seniors and school board members talking about their experiences in @NISD. We are thankful for trustees who seek out student voices and students who are willing to share.❤️🐾

Thankful we are able to purchase numerous databases to help students find reliable&accurate information for assignments. Many of our databases are what some students may see on college campuses! Thanks teachers for encouraging best practices when it comes to research!! ❤️📚
