Sometimes I wonder why Quakerism isn't more popular and then I read a study like this and remember.

What do Facebook ex-pats use to invite folks to parties? Would love an online system that would save people's emails, etc so I can click "previous attendees" or something similar.

Mentioned my cross-streets to a guy at a party. "Oh, I used to live near there. It was this butt-ugly popcorn stucco house surrounded by beautiful Victorians." Readers, he was describing my house.

🚨🚨🚨 My friend and former colleague @DivaOfDiversity also won a Murrow for her podcast! Michelle brings the most incisive perspective (and her gorgeous writing ability) to everything she does. This is an outstanding example.

@erin_gottsacker The best part of journalism is working with brilliant, dedicated people. Every reporter I've edited has blown me back with their talent and their passion. I'm glad some of them are getting recognition for that brilliance.

And! @erin_gottsacker won one for her feature about the Lac du Flambeau tribe's spearing tradition. (I had nothing to do with it, but I'm still very proud.)
wxpr.org
The practice of spearing has evolved over time, but it has not disappeared. Tribal leaders want to make sure it never does.

@RyanVanVelzer .@jess_m_clark and @StephRWolf won one for their documentary A Critical Moment. I won't re-hash how powerful and moving and (I'm sorry) critical it is, but suffice to say their dedication and passion still chokes me up.

.@RyanVanVelzer won a Murrow. No one writes like Ryan. He can make people care about literal poop with the power of his reporting and writing.
