Being GCPO has been the high point of my career. I’ve learned much over these years of transformation amid the challenges of EU Exit and pandemic response and I very much value the excellence and commitment of my colleagues in all parts of Government.

After six years as the UK Government Chief People Officer (GCPO) I’m leaving the Civil Service in April this year to take up a new role in the private sector. Subject to the relevant approvals, I’ll be excited to share those with you in due course
