Homewood Youth Leadership students visited city hall today to learn how local government serves our community and how they can take part in it. Our new city leadership got to spend time with them and share how the city is run. These students are the future of Homewood!

Crews are replacing a water line along Woodvale Lane near Greenhill Drive. About 1,000 feet of 2-inch line will be replaced, with work expected to finish in December. Please plan for delays in this area and use caution around crews.

Homewood will add a police substation inside City Hall, using existing ground-floor space, currently unused, giving officers a permanent office and increases patrols near downtown businesses. Work to renovate the area is expected to begin in the next couple of months.
