The City of Flagstaff is in Stage 4 Fire Restrictions and the Coconino National Forest is closed to the public. This means that several sections of the Flagstaff Urban Trails System (FUTS) that provide an entrance to the forest are closed. The following map shows these closures.

Reminder: The Winter Parking Ordinance is in effect. ⚠ There is NO PARKING on city streets or alleyways from midnight to 7:00 a.m. This parking restriction is enforced whether it is snowing or not and remains in effect until April 1, 2023. ❄

A prescribed burn will be conducted by the Flagstaff Fire Department near the Naval Observatory tomorrow, October 18. 🔥 Residents and visitors can expect smoke to be visible in the area. Smoke from the prescribed burn is expected to drift in a southern direction away from I-40.

The communities s. of I-40 and w. of I-17 will be downgraded from SET to READY” status. The neighborhoods included in this change are Kachina Village, Forest Highlands, Pine Del, Mountain Del, Flagstaff Ranch, Westwood Estates, Equestrian Estates & University Heights.
