I hate it when IT assessment questions start with “you are explaining X to a young engineer in your company”. First, I’m at a point where that “young” person likely knows as much or more than me. Second, that means I’m definitely going to get this question wrong, and feel dumb.

I have 8Gbps fiber at home now, which is awesome... This is first time in my life where my internet is faster then wired port on my gaming rig (2.5Gbps). Guess it's time to get a 10Gbps NIC! It has been probably 20 years since I added a wired NIC to a PC. #FirstWorldProblems
